This pendant is an adaptation of the Cherokee Medicine Wheel concept in honor of cancer survivors everywhere as a reminder that on-going harmony and balance in our lives are strong benefactors for continued healthy living.
The original creation was in support of the Cancer Services (Winston-Salem, NC) Annual Fund Drive.
The outer circle symbolizes the Circle of Life and serves as a reminder that all things in life move in a circle and a cycle. The inner circles represent the four directions (East, South, West, North), of which each represent an aspect of life (Spirit, Natural Environment, Body, and Mind) for balance. The four trillion stones are amethysts in honor of cancer survivorship. The center stone is a diamond, indicative of strength, purity, and longevity.
